INSPIRATION: I was in the depths of despair. I wanted to start my life over. It wasn’t just from the aftermath of a high profile celebrity marriage and divorce (profiled on E! Hollywood Wives Tales airing in syndication), it was from a lifetime of accumulated struggles, grief, loss, fear, anger, and patterns I knew had to be broken. I knew I needed to make major changes in order to achieve what I really wanted in my life and it all had to start within myself. I needed to rebuild my foundation in order to support my new dreams. I had fears and frustrations. I hurt. I was angry. I grieved and I healed.
The Flying Goddess is a lucky charm representing the success of the journey -- a symbol for women to recognize and acknowledge the strength, self-worth, and joy within themselves. It is the symbol of empowerment, support, motivation and encouragement to all those about to embark on their own journey, those who have done it, those in the process, and those who are helping others rebuild a new life. The Flying Goddess also reminds us to never lose our sense of humor and fun, hence the “hiney” side. It is through our strength that we are able to create...whatever we want...whatever we believe in. We are unlimited. We can soar to heights we never knew we could go. We can imagine what can be, what will be, fly there, and realize it.

Motivated to put her difficult divorce from acting icon David Carradine behind her, Marina decided to put her energy into something more positive. Three weeks after she decided to end court proceedings, Marina came up with the idea of turning her company logo onto a lucky charm. Literally.
